The LEGO Company was formed in 1934, when after the loss of his woodworking shop in the Great Depression, it’s founder Ole Kirk Christiansen shifted his career into making toys for kids. They made yo-yos and wooden toys for years though prior to the development of their first “Automatic Binding Bricks” in 1947. Though it wasn’t until 1953 that they became the versatile small building toys that we are all so fond of today.

Of course, one of the most popular LEGO themes to ever success the market is Lego Star Wars. In 1999 Star Wars became the first intellectual property to be licensed in the record of the Lego group.  Their first installment in this string was the Lego X-wing Star fighter–the famous star fighter that Luke Skywalker defeated the Death Star in. Soon afterwards, this was followed by several sets based on the original trilogy, and more recently based on the prequel trilogy.

It was additionally developed for Nintendo’s Game Boy Advance. In August 2005, A Mac port was developed for the game to be played on Mac computers and in October 2005, a version was released for the Nintendo GameCube.   Afterwards, both were released together in one comprehensive addition.
